Living in Southeast Boise Homes
Southeast Boise is also known for its slimline or “skinny houses,” typically newer built homes located in more established neighborhoods. Its proximity to Boise State University, Downtown Boise, the Greenbelt and Interstate 84 make this area appealing to those on the go. One of the best-known parks on this side of town is Ivy Wild which is located off Broadway Avenue and has a public pool that attracts residents from all over the city during the summer months. There are many popular and established Southeast Boise neighborhoods including River Run, Lakewood and Surprise Valley to name a few.
Bown Crossing is an enclave of shops and great dining located off Boise Avenue. It’s even home to an old-fashioned candy store.
Columbia Village is another popular development consisting of real estate primarily built in the 1990s.
