Warm Springs Boise

Warm Springs homes for sale are centered around Warm Springs Avenue. Warm Springs Ave begins at First Street, which was the original eastern city limit of Boise in 1867. Both the Avenue and the East End Neighborhood to the North are Boise City Historic Districts. The homes you will find here were built between 1865 to the 1990’s and are terrific examples of all of the architectural styles that were popular through those years.

Boise's Warm Springs Neighborhood

Warm Springs, which is the eastern continuation of Main Street, got its name from the hot springs located at the foot of the prominent hill topped by the sandstone mesa and local Boise landmark, Table Rock. The springs were popular with the locals who camped each year along the nearby Boise River. In 1891 the brick Victorian mansion at the south-west corner of the Avenue and Walnut St. became the first home in Boise to be heated by geothermal water. Since then most Warm Springs area homes have been connected to that same source.
