Depot Bench Boise
Boise's Depot Bench is a quiet neighborhood filled with beautiful mature trees, charming residential streets, and architectural history. The area, once well outside the city limits, sprung to life just after the completion of the neighborhood's namesake Union Pacific Railroad Depot in 1925. Set high atop Boise's Bench, two miles west of downtown, the area is prized for proximity to the Boise River Greenbelt, city parks, and its tight-knit sense of community. Depot Bench homes for sale reflect the area's early residents – upper middle class and eclectic with an eye for history. Many of the original houses were built from the 1930s to 1960s, with styles ranging from Spanish and Colonial Revival to Mid-Century Atomic Ranch. Most Depot Bench homes are priced from $300k to $800k. However, view properties on the neighborhood's most coveted streets, including Crescent Rim and Owyhee, can fetch upwards of $1 million.
