Living in Boise's North End
Within the Boise North End or "North End" as locals refer to it, are over a half-dozen parks, including ever-popular Camel's Back Park. Located at the base of the foothills Camel's Back Park not only offers a traditional park setting with tennis courts & playgrounds. More importantly over 63 acres of hiking and biking trails within the foothills. This park is home to the famous Hyde Park Street Fair held every September and is known as a huge “neighborhood picnic” with over 40,000 people in attendance over the weekend event.
Hyde Park - Is its own enclave in the North End, located on N 13th Street. Best described as a quaint downtown within a neighborhood. This area is a hub for local dining, shops and services.
Harrison Boulevard - Located in the heart of the North End, between N 17th & 18th Streets. Harrison Boulevard is one of Boise's most famous, gorgeous tree-lined streets. In the early parts of the 20th century, many well-known Boise residents built stately mansions all varying in architectural design. During Halloween, Harrison Boulevard is a popular destination with over 3,000 trick or treaters visiting the residents every year.
