As Boise continues to grow and gain a vibrant local personality, craft beverages are making their mark on the city’s food scene. In downtown Boise alone, there are over 13 locally-owned, craft coffee shops with every vibe you can imagine—from Instagram-worthy aesthetic to eclectic, cozy to bustling, breakfast spot to late-night study haunt. Coffee has almost undeniably become a part of Boise’s identity, and we have a feeling the coffee slinging crew is just getting started.

Dawson’s Downtown Coffee House

Dawson Taylor Coffee Roasting Company has its roots in Idaho since its founding in 1995. This specialty coffee roasting company has expanded over the years, growing its footprint while maintaining high environmental friendliness and quality standards. Their downtown coffee house has stood on 8th Street for years, becoming a well-known icon and favorite local hangout.

District Coffee House

An airy, hip atmosphere, fresh pastries, and espresso bar are all part of what makes The District a local favorite. They serve craft pour over coffee with several single origin options, as well as smoothies and espresso drinks, appealing to both the connoisseur and the average coffee drinker. Flying M Coffee

A favorite late-night study spot, Flying M Coffee sports a quirky, eclectic vibe with rotating art and off-beat gifts decorating the walls and shelves. A Hyde Park staple, Hyde Perk tucked into the idyllic North End on historic 13th Street.
