Nampa Idaho Real Estate – Homes and Properties for Sale

Northwest Nampa, Idaho is considered most of the area north of Interstate 84. Beginning as a sparsely populated part of town, the addition of the Ford Idaho Center in the late 1990’s ultimately paved the way for the new development we see today. In recent years, this area has flourished with a number of new commercial developments offering residents everything they could need without the hassle of traveling far. Also located in Northwest Nampa is the College of Western Idaho campus, which has locations throughout the Treasure Valley. Serving over 8,600 students just in Canyon County alone. The main Nampa campus is located near the Ford Idaho Center with massive plans of expansion all the way to the year 2040. For the younger student population, most students will also attend the Vallivue School District, which is one of the areas most sought after school districts for students in kindergarten through high school.

Northeast Nampa real estate is located in a vibrant part of this growing city. Its central location in town with close proximity to the Nampa-Caldwell Boulevard which connects the City of Nampa with Caldwell, Idaho. Another main thoroughfare is the Karcher Road interchange. Connecting Nampa with Marsing, Idaho and is home to the great angler activities of the Snake River. This area also provides easy access to Snake River Wine Country which is quickly gaining notoriety as a winery hotspot in the entire Northwest. Much of Northeast Nampa is also within the Vallivue School District which was noted above.

South Nampa homes for sale are located south of both Roosevelt and Greenhurst Roads. While this part of town is furthest from the interstate, there are many reasons why residents choose to call this part of Nampa home. The Saint Alphonsus Medical Center (Formally known as Mercy Medical Center) is a large medical campus in the heart of South Nampa. Adjacent to the medical campus is the Nampa Recreation Center which is noted as a “Premier 140,000 square foot indoor recreation facility”. South Nampa has also seen the recent development of shopping and eateries making this one of the most sought-after parts of Nampa. Northwest Nazarene University can also be found in South Nampa with a sprawling 88-acre campus serving over 8,000 students in both their undergraduate and graduate programs.

Nampa Arts and Recreation

There are twenty-four parks in the city of Nampa, Lakeview Park being the largest. The picturesque Lakeview Park is more than 44 acres in size. The Nampa Recreation Center houses a six-pool aquatics center over its 140,000 square foot. In addition, you will find three separate gyms, racquetball courts, a running track, and a climbing wall.

At the Nampa Civic Center, residents enjoy an incredible array of concerts, live theater and community events in a beautiful downtown facility. Nampa is also home to the Idaho Center, an entertainment venue unmatched in the state. With an arena, horse park, outdoor amphitheater and sports complex, the Idaho Center hosts events all year long. From the world famous Snake River Stampede rodeo to the Rolling Stones, there is something for everyone at the Idaho Center.

Downtown Nampa Nights feature local musicians during the summer. Northwest Nazarene University’s Brandt Center attracts guests such as the Boise Philharmonic Orchestra.
